Serves Wards 5 and 6
Cathy was appointed to a vacant trustee seat in December of 2005 as Trustee for Wards 5 and 6. She was re-elected in 2006 and has served since. Cathy is married to Chris Hughes and is the mother of 4 children and also has 5 grandchildren. Cathy is a retired Wisconsin State Patrol Trooper who is now employed as a part-time police officer for the Village of Bonduel. She volunteers as a Hunter Safety Instructor, is the secretary of the Bay Port Equestrian Team, is also an Employee Assistance Coordinator for the Division of State Patrol Wausau Post, and is an instructor at the Wisconsin State Patrol Academy.
