Forestry Division

Responsibilities

The Forestry Division is responsible for the planting and maintenance of all trees within the street right-of-way, in village parks, and all other village owned properties. We also plant and maintain landscape and annual flower beds along village streets and parks.

National Recognition

The Village of Howard has been recognized by the Arbor Day Foundation as a Tree City USA community for every year since 1992 for its commitment to urban forestry.
