The Howard Village President serves a three-year term.
President Burt R. McIntyre was elected Village President in April 2008 and was re-elected in 2011. He previously served as a Village Trustee in Wards 15 & 16 (April 2005 to April 2008). In addition to his Village President duties, President McIntyre is the Chairman of the Plan Commission, served on the Village's Go Green, Save Green Task Force and is an active member of the HALO committee (Hobart & Howard, Ashwaubenon, Lawrence and the Oneida Nation).
In addition to his civic duties, he has been involved in the Howard-Suamico-Pulaski Soccer program for almost 3 decades and serves on the national board of Soccer Association for Youth (SAY).
He is married to Patricia.
