Alcohol in Parks
"The Village of Howard currently allows alcohol in parks? Do you believe alcohol should be permitted in parks?" 42% said yes; 48% said no.
Village Hall Hours
"In terms of Village Hall hours; which would you prefer?" The survey received 391 responses - 35% preferred office hours of Monday through Thursday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.; 65% preferred Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Recycling Container
"Would you be interested in receiving a new, much larger recycling container so all recyclables can be co-mingled versus separated, if you had to purchase the new container for a one-time cost of approximately $60?" The survey received 130 responses - 65% did not want to purchase the larger cart; 35% stated they would prefer the larger cart.
Roundabouts
"Do you prefer roundabout intersections more than stop signs or taffic signals?" The survey received 133 responses - 111 or 83% were in favor of roundabout intersections; 22 or 17% preferred stop signs or traffic signals.
Name Change
"Do you believe the Village should formally change its name from Howard to Duck Creek?" The survey received 135 responses - 30 or 22% were in favor of changing the name to Duck Creek; 105 or 78% preferred to keep Howard's name as is.
