The Village of Howard Plan Commission is comprised of seven (7) members. The Village President, one (1) Village Trustee, and five (5) citizens of the Village comprise the seven (7) members of the Plan Commission. The Village Board representative on the Plan Commission shall be elected annually by the Village Board. The citizen members shall be appointed for staggered three (3) year terms.
The Village of Howard Plan Commission meets the third Monday of every month at 6:30 P.M. at Village Hall. The Plan Commission reviews all zoning, subdivision, site plan and conditional use permit requests. After reviewing a submittal the Plan Commission forwards a formal recommendation to the Village Board for final action.
