The Village of Howard Public Works Department collects leaf and yard waste in the spring and fall of each year. Spring collection runs from the first Monday in April through the third Friday in April. Fall collection runs from the third Monday in October through the second Friday of November each year. Leaves, grass clippings and garden waste should be raked to the curb and not into the street. Bagged collections will NOT be collected. Pumpkins will not be collected.
Leaves, grass and garden waste may be be dropped off in the designated area at the Public Works Facility located at 1336 Cornell Road. Drop off is available throughout the entire year.
