Leaf Collection has concluded for spring 2013.

The Village of Howard Public Works Department collects loose leaves in the spring and fall of each year. Spring collection runs from the first Monday in April through the third Friday in April. Fall collection normally runs from the third Monday in October through the second Friday of November each year. Leaves should be raked to the curb and not into the street. Bagged collections will NOT be collected. Pumpkins, corn stalks, root balls and other solid objects damage or plug the vacuum equipment and will not be collected.
Leaves, grass, sticks, branches, garden waste and other organic compostable wastes may be dropped off in the designated area at the Public Works Facility located at 1336 Cornell Road. Drop off at the Public Works Facility is available throughout the entire year.
