VILLAGE PRESIDENT & BOARD OF TRUSTEES

The Village President & Board of Trustees of Howard are responsible for establishing policies for the Village. The Village Board meets twice monthly (the second & fourth Monday of every month at 6:30pm at Village Hall, located at 2456 Glendale Avenue). All residents are encouraged to attend meetings. If there are questions regarding agenda items or meeting information, you may email Village Administrator/Clerk Joshua Smith or contact any of the Village elected officials (please see their contact information below).
The Village President is responsible for making appointments to numerous boards/commissions and for chairing the Village Board meetings. The Village Board as a whole is responsible for establishing an annual village tax rate, approving an annual budget, setting all formal village policies and establishing the strategic direction of the Village. President Burt R. McIntyre was elected Village President in April 2008. Burt previously served as a Trustee (April 2005 to April 2008). He is married to Patricia. He has been involved in the Howard-Suamico-Pulaski Soccer program for almost 3 decades and serves on the national board of Soccer Association for Youth (SAY).

Ron has served as Village Trustee for Wards 1 & 2 since April 1991. Other Committees, Boards and organizations Ron has served include: Zoning Board (1973-1979); Sewer & Water Inspector for Village of Howard (1976-1977); served as President or Vice-President of the Bay Port Music Parent's Association (1982-1984); served as Chairman of the Police & Fire Commission (1985-1988); Brown County Supervisor for District 44 (1988-1990) and served on the Village Plan Commission (1993-1999).

The Village of Howard, Municipal Court was established in 1975.
The Municipal Court hears approximately 2000 cases per year.
Cases heard in Municpal Court are either Village ordinances or traffic violations.
Judge Gregg Schreiber was first elected as Municipal Judge in April of 1999.
