VILLAGE PRESIDENT & BOARD OF TRUSTEES
The Village President & Board of Trustees of Howard are responsible for establishing policies for the Village, including approving an annual budget and establishing a tax rate. The Village Board meets twice monthly (the second & fourth Monday of every month at 6:30pm at Village Hall, located at 2456 Glendale Avenue). All residents are encouraged to attend meetings. If there are questions regarding agenda items or meeting information, you may email Village Administrator Paul Evert or contact any of the Village elected officials (please see their contact information below).

The Village President is responsible for making appointments to numerous boards/commissions and for chairing the Village Board meetings. The Village Board as a whole is responsible for establishing an annual village tax rate, approving an annual budget, setting all formal village policies and establishing the strategic direction of the Village.
