TIM NIEMI, GIS COORDINATOR

Tim Niemi was appointed as Village of Howard Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Coordinator on March 3, 1997.
The GIS Coordinator reports to the Executive Director of Public Works and works closely with all village departments to ensure that many layers of information is appropriately recorded. This information includes addresses, parcel lines, zoning, utilities, roads and all fixed assets owned by the village. This information is used by the Village Board when analyzing policy issues.
Mr. Niemi received his Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Geography from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse and is a member of the Wisconsin Land Information Association.
