Duck Creek Quarry Park

Duck Creek Quarry Park is a 30.83-acre property containing a limestone quarry which was operated from 1827 until 2001. The site was quarried to within 50-feet of the property lines on all sides and has a depth greater than 170-feet. The quarry opened for recreational use including swimming, fishing and boating in 2017. Please read all signage prior to using the park.
Amenities
Duck Creek Quarry Park is open to the general public and features walking trails, a dock for launching non-motorized boats and for catch-and-release fishing, and a dog swimming area. The swimming beach is open only to Howard residents and their guests who have wristbands. - Caution, No Lifeguard on Duty
- Cliff jumping/Diving prohibited

- No smoking, no vaping
- No glass bottles/containers
- All boaters must wear PFD
- No motorized boating
- Public Access for Carry-In boats only
- Catch & Release Fishing only. Barbless hooks required.
- Wristbands are required to access the swimming beach.
- Danger, Deep Water- Wristbands are required to access the swimming beach.
- Caution, No Lifeguard on Duty
