John Muraski was born and raised in Green Bay and graduated from UW Green Bay with a BA in Political Science and a minor in Public Administration. John and Linda moved into the Village of Howard in 2002. They have two sons, Alexander (UW Milwaukee) and Calvin (Bay Port).
After nearly 20 years of business and consulting experience, John began his second career in higher education. He was then able to complete his Doctorate in Business administration from UW Whitewater in 2018 while teaching at UW Oshkosh. John now serves as an Assistant Professor at UW Oshkosh College of Business in the Information Systems department where he delivers on his personal mission: Engage, Educate, Enable!
John has a passion for community service and is a 2004 Leadership Green Bay graduate and a proud member of “The Outhouse Gang." He has served on the Green Bay Partners in Education Board, was active in Cub Scouts Pack 4167 as a Den Leader, Webelos Leader, and Cubmaster at Meadowbrook. John currently serves on the NEW IT Alliance Talent Committee and the Alta Resources Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation. John was appointed as Trustee of Wards 7-8 in September 2018 and was elected to finish that term in April 2019.
