COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY

The Village of Howard's Community Development Authority (CDA) is comprised of 7 members. Two (2) Village Trustees and five (5) citizen members constitute the membership of the CDA. The Village Trustees sitting on the CDA shall remain a member of the CDA for the duration of their term as a Village Trustee.
The CDA meets on an as needed basis. The CDA reviews project plans for various developments, creates redevelopment plans for targeted "renewal" areas, purchases and sells property, and also has the authority to exercise eminent domain.
