MISSION: Department of Code Administration personnel provide for public protection, safety, health and well-being by performing all administrative, inspection, and enforcement functions necessary to insure compliance with Village and State building, zoning, floodplain, wetland, historical preservation, nuisance and related codes and ordinances.

JIM KOROTEV - DIRECTOR OF CODE ADMINISTRATION
Jim Korotev was appointed to the position of Director of Code Administration on July 30, 1990. Prior to this, he served in the same capacity for more than ten years for the City of Fitchburg in Dane County, Wisconsin. Mr. Korotev is a member and past president of the Wisconsin Building Inspector's Association and was named "Inspector of the Year" by the Association in 1987.
Mr. Korotev is a Green Bay native, a graduate of Green Bay West High School Class of 1969 and an Eagle Scout. He attended the University of Wisconsin Green Bay and North Central Technical Institute in Wausau, Wisconsin where he graduated with a degree in Architectural Residential Design. When not on the job you'll likely find him stalking deer or cutting firewood in his woods in Oconto County, wading the streams of northern Wisconsin in search of native brook trout, or jigging for lake trout on a remote Canadian lake.

GARY KLINKA - BUILDING INSPECTOR/CODE ENFORCEMENT OFFICER
Gary Klinka was appointed to the position of Building Inspector/Code Enforcement Officer on April 19, 2004. Prior to this, he served as an independent building inspection service for the Village or Winneconne and the Towns of Neenah, Harrison and Winneconne in east central Wisconsin from 1996 to 2004. During the 2001 & 2002 building seasons, Mr. Klinka and his staff issued permits for more than 750 new homes.
Gary Klinka is an active member of the of Northeastern Wisconsin Building Inspectors Association, East Central Wisconsin Association of Electrical Inspectors, and the East Central Wisconsin Plumbing Inspectors Association.

PAY YOUR PERMIT FEES ON-LINE NOW!!
If you have applied for a permit and have been notified that the permit is ready to be picked up at the Village Hall, GovPay now lets you pay your permit fees on-line or by telephone using a credit card. It's a simple and convenient way to pay if you are out of town or if you simply don't have the time to pay fees and pick up your permit in person. The service fee to pay on-line is 3.5% of the permit fee being paid ($3.50 minimum). The service fee to pay by telephone is 4.75% of the permit fee being paid ($5.00 minimum). Once a permit fee is paid, you will receive a confirmation e-mail if you choose. When the Village receives confirmation that a payment has been received, your permit will be sent to you via U.S. mail, e-mail or FAX.
